My Pit Stop developed an issue where the left side pop bumper (blue cap) gets triggered, the bell chimes, but it does not release the replay unit solenoid coil - this causes subsequent pop bumper hits to not register, not to mention heating up the coil. For a bit I could get the coil to release by triggering both flippers (drawing current to get it to let go?) but that tricked stopped working. The pop bumper was rebuilt some months ago, moves freely. I was able to get the replay unit to let go when manually pushing down the pop bumper ring to open the bottom switch (EOS?). I tried adjusting that leaf switch with no improvement - the yoke does hit it and open it on the initial pop bumper hit. I accidentally adjusted the gap open on that switch, and now the problem seems to have gone away - any ideas what this switch does?
