"Just look in the yellow pages". Such an old fashioned statement now. Cool video. Thanks for sharing
Quoted from vid1900:un watching the broad recording the callouts for Creature
I thought the same thing.
Who was the designer in the video?
The voice at 1:29 is that of Larry DeMar.
John Tobias and Ed Boon introduce themselves.
The designer/programmer who speaks at 4:51 is Ted Estes.
.................David Marston
More sad that they stopped making them over hard to believe. Still think Bally/Williams of the 90's are the best machines made to date
Quoted from bigbadmiker:Not really hard to believe. They make a lot more money selling slot machines.
And hard to believe, but at one point pinball carried the slots,

Neil did not close the pinball division because it was not making money.
He closed it because he HATED pinball.
That's why he refused every offer to buy the pinball division, he rather it be dead.
Love when he meets Steve Kordek, asks his age (81, he responded), then asks him if he still plays pinball...his answer:
"Hell yes! I love it!"
And I'm glad this thread was started. The one referenced is 4 years old. I love this kind of stuff from the old B/W days.

Yep, old threads can be bumped.
Quoted from TheLaw:Yep, old threads can be bumped.
...........but..........why? To me, and this is just me, my interpretation of bumping a thread is:
"This was posted - 4 years ago. It's old news. Move on"
Help me understand the logic of bumping a thread from 4 years ago. If it's constructive, I truly want to see the reasoning : ).

I have threads from 6 years ago that keep getting bumped.
Sometimes a new piece of info is found, or it's the anniversary of 9/11, or someone has a problem that is the same as a previous poster, or........sometimes someone finds a thread they believe others missed or they are a new member.
Quoted from NPO:...........but..........why? To me, and this is just me, my interpretation of bumping a thread is:
Yes, we have diff'rent ideas of what bumping a thread is...unless you are literally talking aboot saying "bump?"
Could bump a thread and say "Hey I just ran into this old Youtube video this was cool... and it was in this thread."
I don't think it would get any less responses because it was old.
Personally I just don't like starting threads when other people have & eXpecially with, literally, the same name.
I like to do searches and not step on peoples threads but not everyone is like that, which is why I simply posted it and didn't say "do a fucking search" or anything.

Tracking. Cool deal - wanted to understand as some people do what you did to very surreptitiously say "go do a fucking search" without ACTUALLY saying it.
I'll be straight: I thought that's exactly what you were doing at first. Now I see your rationale and logic.
Everything's cleared up on my end : ).
I don’t care if a thread is bumped or a new one started.
But this video is great! It is going on the arcade video wall!

Right on, believe me I used to be that way, but it takes too much energy to rage against that machine
Unless it's the days where 4 of the same threads are all started within a couple hours
I did search before posting (I figured somebody must have shared this video before). Nothing came up. Apparently it’s because I searched “posts” not “topics”. So EXCUUUUUSE ME!
Quoted from radium:Still hard to believe Williams pinball ever ended. Cool video, havent seen this one.
Well it wasn't looking good but Stern would have been creaming themselves with those 1997 figures.
