I’ve got the above machine in to fix. I’ve done a lot of work on it (it was unused and unloved for many years) and have now got it running nicely, but, when you start a game, it always awards 4 replays. It doesn’t seem to be doing it at any other time. The special feature awards 1 replay correctly too.
I am guessing that it is something to do with the 10 and 25cent relays ( it’s a European game and is wired for 3 coin chutes though only 1 is used, the centre one on the coin door for what that is worth.)
I think I have identified these 2 relays as my schematic shows their coil numbers and two relays on the motor board match ( identifying relay labels are missing and coil wraps are nigh worn off too; I’m having to slice the wrappers off to try and read any print underneath where the adhesive joins)
So, these 2 relays seem to be fine and they make and break correctly. The schematic tells me that the motor cam on the end of the stack when viewing from the front, times the replays being awarded exactly as it begins to rotate and stop again. That in turns runs to a reset relay but I’m having trouble in finding that as the labels are missing. Is that somewhere on the motor board? There is one in the head that, I think as the writing is so faint, that says score reset relay, could that be the right one( that too looks fine and all reels reset correctly)
Any ideas are very welcome.
