I’m down to the last lingering issue on my 1975 Bally Wizard. After maxing out the Bonus Unit limit switch at 19,000 during gameplay the lower right ‘Special’ light comes on as it should but when you hit it, no credit awarded and no knocker.

Seems like a pretty simple circuit but I can’t see why this is happening. It does always award 5000 points so the switch is good and credit unit does award replays for high score and the knocker goes off like it should.

The small plug is inserted in the credit hole on the extra ball/credit plug and I’ve checked and cleaned Score motor switch 5C which looks to be in the path but still no luck.

This game was abused pretty good before I got it so I keep thinking a wire might be cut but I can’t see any.

Thanks, that’s what I thought too. Tightened the switch stacks on cam 5 and cleaned 5C and the Bonus unit limit switch is cleaned and making good contact but I’m going to go back over these 3 things including the 5000 point relay and see if I missed something.

Turned out that it was a wire that was cut from the Bonus unit limit switch. It was covered up with black electrical tape and I never saw it because lots of black tape was used throughout under the playfield as wire harnesses.
