Quoted from markmon:So after replacing board #15, now 4 more or so have died including the new 15. This is a fiasco. I'm not blaming the code, but I'm just sick of these boards dying.
Quoted from Pinchroma:Open a quick ticket and PM me the number and ill get you 7.5's and you wont have the issue again.
Quoted from Pinchroma:What hoops? They put in a ticket and get a newly redesigned board that doesn't fail.
What hoop?
Having the SAME boards failures (4,5,6 times), only to be replaced by the same boards that are KNOWN to be bad…
Now the customer has to put in ANOTHER service ticket and then PM some guy on a website for the redesigned boards that he SHOULD have gotten after the … oh I don't know.. second or third or fourth failure.
The definition of "jumping through hoops" as I understand it is: Making the customer do unnecessary work for the desired results.
Seems like the above scenario fits.
Quoted from TaylorVA:is this video of the melt the witch? Would appreciate a "spoiler alert" if it is. thanks.
Why would someone watch a video showing the new changes since a code update... if they didn't want to see the new changes since the code update???
Quoted from TaylorVA:There is a big difference in seeing some lighting effects or changes like that than seeing a mini-wizard mode.
Did I really have to just explain that?
Apparently. Sorry, I read the title of the video that said WOZ 1.24 GAMEPLAY VIDEO, not WOZ 1.24 - Lighting Effects Only Video.
What a stupid response.
