This is a full release so please refer to our FAQ for information on our how perform a FULL installation. (Fat Formatted 8GB USB Stick Required). If this USB stick was previously used for another full install, please reformat prior to re-use.

Are you at work or behind a proxy? It uses a non standard port so that sometimes stop folks on corporate networks who are firewalled or behind a proxy from accessing it. I can paste it but it has a lot of images so there is no real easy way to do so. Let me see if i can screenshot it.

I heard someone accidentally clicked reboot, machine booted from stick, and it trashed his Windows partition. What's to prevent that from happening to anyone else?

It's very possible. That's why there are huge warnings. And there is also a long countdown on the menu screen giving someone time to pull the usb stick from their machine if they accidentally did boot their PC with it. And before it even starts installing you have another 15-20 seconds of driver boot.

We can't put any type of user intervention in there as there is no keyboard on the game. We can only use countdowns and tons of warnings which it has.

This happened after the update? And hasn't happened before? Maybe your file got corrupted in the process. I would suggest a reinstall of what you have now, and then if it does it again, re-download and try again. Haven't seen it with anyone else yet, so I don't think it's in the new download.
