Quoted from FalconPunch:

Has anyone updated to the latest 5.05 code with this mod?
It seems to have screwed with output to the 2nd screen
it is showing maybe 50% of the screen.
The top right corner...
They are using a different Linux Distribution. Any idea how to change it around?

I see in the change log they have added some monitor adjustments, did you try changing any of them? It would really suck if the update breaks this mod as I was going to order all the parts for mine tomorrow.

#223 8 years ago

Did you do a restore of settings after the update our did you let it set defaults? If you did a restore it might be worth a test to see if clearing those has any affect.

I'd also check to make sure your Mini-screen will handle the HDMI 1080p input. I hooked mine up to a blu ray player to test.

Phantom, which apron display you using?

Quoted from msj2222:

ok, thanks. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I just wanted to confirm the one I have will work before installing...I don't want to get stuck with an $80.- light bulb.

Can you just hook it up without doing all the installation work to see if it works properly? I want to order the same thing but since you already have one I'm hoping you'll be the guinea pig for me in case it doesn't work!

Quoted from Chosen_S:

I updated my Woz to 6.06... Really cool update
But now my screen mods resolution is messed up again. Even though I have a 1080 screen... The screen has no adjustments to change the resolution , it just does it automatically... Searching out a new screen, arggghhhhbh

Damn, I've been waiting to hear how this code affects this mod, hopefully some people that have the lower resolution screens will chime in too. Does your main display show as 1080 on the bootup information?

#306 8 years ago

I'd like to know how it looks with one of the lower resolution apron displays as well.

So is it true that the apron screen mod doesn't display correctly with the new code regardless of resolution of the display used?

Quoted from Phantom1911:

As far as I know it's just a generic VGA to HDMI converter. I picked it up at an electronics shop that I've been going to for years. Unfortunately they don't sell online. I haven't tried to put this mod on TH.

What is "Keith's little patch" you mentioned?
