All,

Version 4.10 is now available.

Please note this is a DELTA ONLY update. You must be running at least 1.24 to before upgrading to 4.10.

It can be downloaded from the following link:

http://support.jerseyjackpinball.com/downloads/woz/

Please review the FAQ's associated with updating your game with a Delta.

FAQ For Delta Updates:
http://support.jerseyjackpinball.com:8081/helpdesk/WebObjects/Helpdesk.woa/wa/FaqActions/view?faqId=13

Below is a list of the changes from 4.00 through the release of 4.10.

**NOTE - This DELTA update requires a reboot if you aren't previously running 4.00. At the end of the update (approximately 30 seconds), an image will appear asking you to remove your usb stick and restart the game. Remove the stick, power down the game, wait 10 seconds then power the game back up. If you are already running 4.00 no reboot will be required and the game will update normally.

+ Addition * Change/bugfix - Note

== Version 4.10 ==
==============================================================================

=== Game Code

* Wizard Mystery can now be blown off.
* Blowing off Munchkin mode start kills magnet now.
* Locking ball before Skill Shot timer expires now restarts skill shot.
* Disabling Monkey Mech by adjustment now shows up in test report.
* Special holds up Throne Room popper now.
* RESCUE target alarm count increased.
* Winkie and Crystal Ball poppers now kick 5 times before going into chaos.
+ Short-circuit a ball out of the CB popper if bumper exit lane switch is
activated. This will hopefully prevent most CB 2-ball situations.
* Fixed repeating Bonus X animation bug.
* CB popper now waits longer when a Haunted mode starts so you can read it.
* Fixed bug that prevented Castle Door from opening during Mega Jackpot.
* Skill shot now times out after about 1 second. This should in particular
eliminate "easy" BALL skill shots (you're supposed to use the UR flipper).
* Prevent certain switches from scoring once per ball search.

=== Core Code

* Score Award max values increased.
* Error dot less noticeable now. Also in upper right now.
+ Suppress Error Dot adjustment.
+ Event logger.
* Missing/corrupted files flagged in test report now.
* Fix scrolling/selecting lines in test report.

Damn you!

What does it mean to be "blown off" and "Blowing off"?

Also, is there a plan to add a setting that manages the skill shot timer or is 1 second the only option?

Pinchroma, thanks for the incredible work on WOZ!

LOL Sorry Mike.

Quoted from Xerico:

Hitting the flipper buttons to abort animations.

No.

My main skill shot strategy has been to let the ball go down to the lower right flipper and shoot for either L target if they are lit. It was nice with the extra time because sometimes I would get it with the sling off a miss!

Keep up the good work guys, the game has come along really nicely.

Thanks
Mike

Nice! Will download this evening. Thanks Keith and Ted for continuing to work on the code for WOZ.

#12 5 years ago

Wow! Nice. Thanks JJP!

Very impressive. Thanks!

Cool!

#15 5 years ago

I agree! That skill shot is now dead to me because... Well it take too much skill now.

#16 5 years ago

Scores just dropped by 30,000

#17 5 years ago

Many thanks to the best software team in all of pinball!!!

Score award max value increased what does this mean? Does it mean instead of X10 maxed it is now more?

What happened to adding the lowest score option, where you get to enter your name for the lowest scores, bit like the high score entry.

#20 5 years ago

I just loaded it up. The update went like all the WOZ updates do, smooth.

#21 5 years ago

Keith, Ted, Jack, Alex, Everyone involved, nice job. I realize it is just a minor update. And I've only hit some of these things a few times. Like the multiple balls sitting in the CB VUK. When I see that happen I just look at it and wonder where they are going to end up. A minor annoyance that you just (hopefully) fixed. It's little things like these fixes and tweaks that keep making the game better and better.

#22 5 years ago

Thanks Keith, Alex, and Team!!!.......a trend seems to be happening to me however.....as code revs go up, my scores are going down.... ......I'm going to have to spend quality time on this thing to get back up to speed.... .....appreciate all of your work refining this beast......mark

Quoted from Mato:

Score award max value increased what does this mean?

It refers to the fixed score award options in the adjustments. Like, Extra Ball at 100,000 or something. The maximum range they could be set to was increased.

same thing is happening to me

Whew....glad I'm not the only one!!!....It's beating me pretty bad as of late, but I keep pushing the button....

#26 5 years ago

everyone has to wipe their high scores off and start from scratch!!!!

Quoted from wcbrandes:

I've been thinking of doing that. I realize my GC score is only because of the Haunted scoring bug Keith fixed, but it really was a massive game. So I'm torn. I really wonder what that exact same game would be in the current version of the software.

#28 5 years ago

I like the new system of bonus scoring. Your ball drains, you look up and see your sucky score, and then BA-BAM!!! A huge bonus is added. Great feeling.

Before my scores were looking like

Now, I'm too ashamed to post. I think my scores started to plummet when the Haunted Multiball scoring was fixed

Mine were close to that (think my Grand score is over 3 million...not at home now to look)....I refuse to reset (ha)....a benchmark, and for the innocent visitor "oh yea, those are normal", then I blame my low score on multiplayer games........ ........embarrassed to say I've only broken 500k ONCE since 4.0 (doesn't even make the board)...geesh..

#31 5 years ago

I actually gave it the "one finger salute" for the very first time last week.....mines becoming a drain monster.....

Does anyone know if 4.1 will be the final update or will there maybe be another?

#33 5 years ago

I'm so impressed with the team and how the software has developed for this game. Thanks so much for the incredible updates and to listening to customers suggestions!

I doubt it. Nothing big but I find it hard to imagine that there won't be a tweak here and there.

Only if we are lucky Alex. You guys have made this pin epic. I haven't even had ANY light board issues or other flubs since last update. ( not like I had more than two since owning last August).

#36 5 years ago

i have had my pinball for over a year and have not had any issues (besides normal pinball issues like switch adjustments)

Great job guys
