Quoted from iepinball:

Double-flipper press and hold. For me, a solid right orbit shot will generally bounce nicely off the deactivated pops and go into the vuk.

I generally wait for the ball to hit the upper tree towards the playfied side then deactivate for it go in the vuk.
how cool is this game??

Yep...used to be.....used it for Toto all the time.....then the damn machine figured it out...now, nice smooth bounce off the trees.....straight down the right drain....thing has a mind of its own, I'm convinced of it...

I shortplunge on Toto saves and try to trap the dribble from the right orbit. Usually can get it on either flipper for a controlled ramp shot.

That's my latest approach....fairly consistent ....some reason, the game has been kicking my ass...hard...the last few weeks......if I get to the final melt the witch shot and lose a ball one more time..........might have to take advantage of the invisiglass sale

I do this too. I love this feature and I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention. So cool to have one more option to think about and my ability to get Haunted MB got much better after this was implemented. I will often plunge all the way around just to work on manipulating the trees to get another mode started.

Quoted from Snailman:

Aha! Very nice to know. So any time the ball is in the tree pops, or headed for them, I just hold down both flipper buttons and the tree pops are deactivated?

The options in settings for turning off the pops by pressing both flipper buttons are:
1) Never
2) When collect is lit
3) Always

What's the default factory setting?
