Hi anyone pre-ordered one of these? Release says late 2012 maybe in time for Xmas will it be keep or stay away. Looks like it has some awesome unique features. But has it gone to far from 1990 era that we all know too well. However they probably said that about the 1990 pinballs with the dmd's and toys. TZ and TAF, TOM for some examples compared to the pre 1970 machines.

Is there enough to keep it fresh and keep going back for more?

any thoughts?

Regards Dave

Before crying troll and burning this guy at the stake, maybe just post links to the other threads, and let him read, and this thread die.

I thought Stern was the only maker of real pinball machines? Oh wait, they make fake ones now too.

#18 11 years ago

Wizard of what?? Who???

I'm confused....

#19 11 years ago

No one else had made anything yet, now have they?

#23 11 years ago

Hey buy a Stern ACDC, that's the most grounding breaking game since the TAF circa 1992! Plus you can get it NOW! Funny how many bagged on the ACDC and now own and love the game. Grab the ACDC and you'll own "lighting in a bottle"! IMHO per Counsel!

Dave, the limited edition run of 1000 games sold out a while ago
The game software is being done by the same guy which did Simpsons pinball party an lord of the rings, so we expect big things

But.....

The software is not finished yet so nobody has played a full game
But it was playable at a show a few weeks ago
