Keep in mind that there are 3 other skill shots that you might want to attempt. All of them are short plunge. One to the witch, one to the skill shot target in the forest and the last to the lit BALL light.

Personally, on the first ball, I opt for a full plunge in hopes that the ball ends up in the forest long enough to light capture Dorothy. I think going for the actual pink skill shot target would do the same thing, but I can't hit that thing to save my butt.

If you can hit BALL, it instantly lights the crystal ball for a scoring mode, so that's normally what I shoot for on balls 2 and 3.

The last thing you can do, that's a little sneaky, is to short plunge and hold the upper flipper up. This typically sends the ball down the left outlane. If you're lucky, it will light the outlane for TNPLH and then give you the ball back under ball save. If it doesn't completely light TNPLH, you'll still be a few hits ahead of the game if it goes out that way later.
