also think DP is too "easy" for (very) good players...
but of course this does not means its not a nice pin

I was disappointed with GoT. Finished the game almost effortlessly after owning it for less than 2 days and only playing a handful of games.
Right now I'm working on Hobbit and JP.

I level up mine around 6.8 degrees, even like that i was able to finish it and only one dragon on targarian... For me the disappointment was on the finish of the wizard mode..

i still think luck remain a major factor to beat the BK, shooting these central risky shoots, for 4 (or 5 or... didnt count) waves is really hot
Locations are closed in washington, unfortunately, so no wizard modes for me for a while. Maybe I'll venture down into oregon...
I'm losing respect for myself, seeing people getting all these wizard modes. lol. Have to redeem myself.

JP is tough for.me because you can't time out the mini wizards. I find myself getting close but on my last ball, so being trapped in a mode that requires playing to run out the time always seems to get me.
Also find the side drains on JP to be brutal, just like Maiden is.

It just got way to repetitive for me. I don't care for scoring, so probably not a good game for me. I'm strictly in it for the wizard mode

I usually am an objective player, but if a big scoring opportunity comes up, I can't help but go for it.

I’m a newer Jurassic Park owner. I haven’t even been close to getting to When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth. I’ve gotten to Museum Mayhem but didn’t complete it and was maybe 2 shots from Visitors Center in the same game but had only played 2 control rooms at that point. I really like owning a game that I may never see the end of and if I do it’s a once in a blue moon type of event. Don’t see myself getting bored with this game.
How hard is it compared to some of the other notoriously hard to get to wizard modes like TSPP WOZ BBH or WPT?

When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth is the wizard mode for those with insane skills. I'm just trying to get to Escape Nublar.
I find it fairly easy to get to Visitors Center, but Museum Mayhem and Control Room in the same game is tough.
I've been one t-rex event away from the wizard, so eventually I'll get it.
The other wizard modes you listed are definitely tougher than Escape Nublar, but probably up the with WDRTE.
Not exactly a wizard mode, but I guess kind of... I beat Smaug in Hobbit which is a pretty epic pinball moment, and then also did the 3 mini wizards (didn't finish them).
Just have to reach TABA, and I assume I've seen it all?

I was one shot away from finishing ROTK in LOTR the other day. Had everything else completed and was ready for Vlainor. Just couldn't make that final shot!
I just picked up a TNA, so that has humbled me. I thought I was doing pretty good with my other games, and now I feel like I just started playing pinball a few days ago!
I got multiball on Firepower and while in that multiball I locked all 3 again to start a second multiball inside of the original multiball.
Does that count as a wizard mode???

Even if you had completed return of the King you would have had to destroy the ring still. Even if you have already destroyed the ring once, that always has to be the final thing before vallinor and if you don't destroy the ring you have to play all the multiballs again and then try again.

I'm well aware... On my best game (about a year ago) I had done everything, and had one the very last shot in DTR to reach Valinor, and the flippers just didn't have the juice. I think I miss 8 clean shots before finally draining.
Didn't play or look at my pins for about a month after that!
Shortly after reading your thread earlier this afternoon I finished Casino Frenzy and Break the Bank on High Roller Casino . I guess it was a good motivation - I've got to them before but this is the first time I finished both in the same game. Certainly not close to the difficulty of most of those mentioned but hey, I'll take it.

I know how you feel.... I collected all 6 gems the other day, and Thanos mode wasn't there. I've been a few shots away from Battle Royale, but haven't seen it yet.
I think Trophy mode will be the same like When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth, which I don't even pay attention to because getting there seems pretty much impossible for anyone who is not a top 20 player in the world. Plus, the whole trophy idea was just stupid. Not sure what that has to do with Avengers. They could have done so much more with this.

I haven't had much time on BSD, but I know it's a deadly game, so if you're running up a big score, that's wizard mode territory in my books.

trophy mode is 24 right ? i finish that game with 21 (and i'm ranked 904 right now, just 1 year since last tournament played)
than again, Johannes O. did it, but he's n°4 and way (way way) better than me
but in the end, each one with his own level, as the more important is simply having fun while playing pinball

I thought tonight was going to be Valinor in LOTR
I had everything completed, then started Destroy The Ring. Very first shot bounced off the ramp post and fired back like a laser right into the drain. Most missed shots give me a fighting chance, but not this one. I had two EBs left, but just put the 3 movies together. What a bummer!

Oh man so close.... I'll be cheering for you, as I keep working to try to get there myself. I had my best game so far (still quite a ways from Valinor) and I missed the 2nd ring shot twice. For me that's still a good goal every game and I know it's frustrating to come up short. The struggle will make getting there so much sweeter!

Hey Kevin, I appreciate the note and the cheering. It's such a fantastic game. Of all the games I've owned and played, this is my #1.
Right now in my line up, I'm trying to get to Nublar in Jurassic Park, Reactor 9 in TNA, and TABA in Hobbit.
With this pandemic showing no real signs of an ending, I guess I'll have some time to work on them!

Meh. I get lucky. Most of my games are terrible haha. I do occasionally get things flowing and get a good game in.
Still my highlight is getting to LMS on ball 1!
Out of the games I currently have, I still need to reach wizards on LOTR, AIQ, JP, and TNA. I got to Reactor 7 on TNA last night.
With Hobbit, all I need to do is reach TABA, and I've seen everything. I guess the quickest way to do that is start and time out modes. Pretty boring, but I might just do it to say I got there, and then I'm probably ready to flip the game.

Don't be so humble... you don't make any wizard modes with luck Unless you've got it set on 5 ball and rewarding extra balls on everything... which I am certain you don't!

Haha. Yeah, I'm weird about that. I once got 1 shot away from Valinor, and then realized the outlane posts were raised up one (easier) and I didn't count that game, even though let's be honest, it's pinball, who cares!
But then I got one shot away one standard setting, and that felt pretty awesome.
I think pinball just has to be fun, so whatever you need to do to your game to make it so, no one should say anything.
For me, I just like everything set to factory standard.
Even when people say certain games should have a higher pitch to play better, I refuse to set it to anything but 6.5 since that is what the manual says.
Haha, I think I'm OCD with this stuff!

It wasn't today, but when I finally unlocked Choose Your Adventure on R&M by filling the Adventure Card (with only one adventure prelit), I of course chose Rick Potion #9, which is only available that way, and the music had me laughing so hard that I drained before I really knew what was going on. Still trying to get back to it, and resisting the temptation to change the setting to "un-wizard" it and just mix it in with the other adventures.

well, before getting it, i had only played it few (in meetings), that means i was absolutly not in the code, just playing as it...
to be honest it was not in my wishlist (to swap vs my Houdini), than someone propose it, i checked infos & videos on internet, and finally think it could be a positive experience because game seems like to be nice, fast, with actually a complete code (already noticed about the PF multiplicator)
once home, firsts games were a complete braindead because of all inserts flashing in all colors (lol), its impossible to follow what is going on
but OK, it quickly becomes "easy", to understand, and to play (blue+green+purple+orange for modes, yellow for hyperspace, red for t-fighter/jackpot, cean for combo & white for boba fett)
at first, you think the code is deep, but finally its not, its just perfect for what it is : the theme, in a fast playing pin/SR design, with lot of hurry-up
you have to play quickly, but also think quickly, and than when you add that multiplicator factor in the game, it becomes even more fun & addictive
i can understand the bad reports at the begning, even more about the missing toys... but SW is easy to mod if you like that
i also feel the artwork being poor (the comic edition is way better to me), but than its a very nice pin, may be not top of the list, but its good for sure
may be that multiplicator factor is too much a game changer (as the snikt target on DP, or GOT which is also coded by Dwight)
if you didnt know about it, you can even have a long ball of 5 or 10 minutes (but than score nothing special), and than be beaten by a guy mastering that (keeping that X20 or even better X40 alive), making only few shoots (as hyperspace hurry up or video mode) and blowing a hiscore way too easily
all in all, i will not keep the SW for long (quickly become "easy" for me), but its a positive experience without a doubt
