So the match counter in my Bally Wizard is missing the screws and spacers, so it does not work. I called PBR, they helped tell me what I was missing, but he did not happen to have any on hand. He did say that I could possibly fabricate a spacer, and get some #4 or #6 screws and nuts to work.

Can someone measure the spacing I am supposed to have between the 2 boards? I think a hollow tube could be cut to fit.

Or, if anybody has the parts, I would gladly buy them. The counter works when I press the boards in, I just need to hold them there. I think there is a stepped bolt, and a spacer, but not 100% sure.

Or, other ideas or suggestions?

This is my first pin.

Thank you, that is an amazing write up, and one I did not find when searching. Now the only mystery is the thickness of the missing spacer. If I can figure that out, I surely can fab one.

Thanks again!

My screw guide says its a #5 screw, screwing into a tapped thread in the plate

DrDre thank you so much! Looks like your spacer is 3/4” from the photo. Assuming just one? I’ll buy both screw sizes, to save a return trip to the hardware store.

Yes. Just one spacer. Attached through the lower screw hole. Looks like there is space for another spacer in the top screw hole. My unit may be missing that one.

Checked the same unit in my Capt Fantastic. Only one post in the lower hole.

Thanks! I looked close at mine, and it has one threaded hole. I found a spacer, store had no #5 screws... try again tomorrow!

Fastenal or Grainger will be able to get you the #5. I used Fastenal for a #3 for a Bally. Qty 10, 2 days and under $3.

I ordered 50 from EBay after stopping at 2 stores today. If anybody needs one, I’ll mail then out.
