Quoted from Beemus:A few months ago I learned about the add-a-ball version of this game called Pleasure Isle. With only 235 made I figured the chance of finding one was slim. Nonetheless I added the machine to my want list. Whether replay or add a ball this title would be my first gottlieb em at some point.
A few weeks later I receive a message in my pinside inbox from Peggy claiming she has a pleasure isle in her barn basement that no longer works and is headed for the junk pile unless I would like to have it. Peggy is in Wisconsin and she had joined pinside the day before.- Pinside! Thanks for wishlists! They actually work. Donation sent.
Just a quick note affirming these thoughts. As a newish owner (two older Gottlieb games, which is my limit in terms of space) I still find myself browsing Facebook Marketplace and Craigslist to see what's around. A while back I came across a strange (to me) game - Playmatic Harem - Harem 4-Player and popped over to the Machine section of Pinside to see what I could find out about it - just curious (the game seemed in decent shape and priced low). The database revealed it was pretty rate - no Pinside owners and just two folks had it on their wish list - so I messaged them. No response, but, you never know. Might just be somebody's white whale.....
