All,

I have a hunter ship mod I bought second hand. I was told it was a pinbits mod and found their wiring instructions. Their mod has a wiring harness and several leads.

Problem is, this ship/mod only has 2 single wire leads and I don’t know how or what to connect to.

I have never done any soldering but am not afraid to try, just looking for advice so I don’t blow or destroy anything!

Thanks in advance!

Not quite sure what they've done, but first thing I'd do is test it on a 9v battery to make sure it works.

If it does, you can solder the wires to the lugs of a GI socket

Thank you-I did just that and the outer orange "engine" 2 bulbs light up. Nothing for the other 4 bulbs....Any way to get them on for the "ship glow" that I believe they are for? Or just cut my losses?

Appreciate the help!

Can you show the Pinbits directions? Assuming none of those solder joints are broken.....

Not really sure. If there is only one set of wires for a connection and the bulbs don't light, there is a problem somewhere. If you want me to add LEDs under the ship and take out what's there I can do that for you. Pm me and we can work something out if you want.

I found them (pinbits directions) online (I bought this second hand and was told it was a pinbits mod) this is where I saw a wiring harness and several leads

I can try and post here but not sure how....

Just looked at the Pinbits site, that's definitely not the Pinbits mod. Do you have a couple pieces of wire that you can connect your 9 volt directly to one of the leds that isnt lighting up and see what happens?

That blue resistor in the center in the first pic, running lengthwise with the ship, it looks like that leg is not attached, there's hot glue or something on there?
