either hack it into 12v relay, the switched power or use one of them fancy power strips.

good project to learn with.. get a multimeter out and find some 12v that is on when the game is on. or tap the 110 switched and put a wall wart on.
or just get a switch to flip the 110 at the plug.. its christmas time and you can find 10a foot switches for lights.. plug that in and stomp on it.
if you dont feel comfortable hacking your pins with 12 pins in your collection likely something you wont get into.
