Wires too short after rebuilding connectors

    The problem connector is J3 on the Rectifier. The wires for the connectors leading away and up the right hand side of the head to the SDB are resting against the heat sinks on the bridges. Not enough slack to tack the harness to the backbox. And I swear, I clipped wires at the pin, and only stripped 1/8" off for the new connector. Any suggestions for dealing with this?

    Heat shrink tubing to protect the wires from the heat?

    Solved! P5 connector has enough tension to hold the wires clear of the heat sinks.

    I would put some small zip ties on those loose wire bundles to neaten them up a little.
