I am planning on doing the often much needen ground mods to a Gottlieb system 80b (a Genesis).
But I'm not sure which type of wire/cable I need for soldering from the pcb:s to the ground cable?

And what's the proper english name for that type of wire/cable? Can't seem to find it at any pinball shops online.

18 gauge stranded wire.

I usually get it from electronics shops online, not pinball suppliers.

Great, thanks!
My local electronics store carries something similar to about 15 or 16 gauge, would that work as well?

That wire is thicker than necessary, but yes.

Since my local electronics parts store closed, I go to the local auto parts store and buy 18 gauge stranded wire right off the shelf. It's about $7 for 30 feet of it. I buy green colored wire to denote that it's a ground wire in the machine.

Hey there! Got a moment?
