Game Plan,Star Trip Cocktail Pinball Machine,
Am back on it after a 4 plus year delay,See link and some back story if interested. These last 2 long weekends have seen it become my main winter project, when time permits after a full time job and the cold of winter here in Colorado keeps me inside..........which I hope is alot !!!
Replaced the MPU board-as my original was badly damaged from an exploded 30 year old battery,I bought and received it 4 years ago from Echo Lake Pinball in Ohio,Jim was doing remakes of them............cost was probably the value of machine, but this survivor needs a shot at having a new life and this is the new heart transplant it has waited 3 decades to receive !!
Machine powers up now and it has GI lighting, cooling fan and "sounds"
Parts on order-Rubbers from Pinball Life,Pop Bumper Caps from Pinball Resource,LED Bulbs-Warm White Retro bulbs from Comet Pinball and Pop bumper hard parts on order from Marco Specialties.
Waxed the playfield with Carnauba Wax
Got the ball launch coil apart today, and replaced the coil sleeve and polished the coil shaft-re-assembled in reverse order.....will do this with all coil assemblies.
That is it for now, almost midnite here.
