Quoted from f3honda4me:That’s not just where you are. Can’t buy it on dvd or Blu-ray here either. Can only buy a digital download.
Yeah I got it on iTunes last night.

Yeah I got it on iTunes last night.
Quoted from cheshirefilms:Um, this new kid brought us JJP Pirates. And most of y'all didn't buy it.
And they missed out on a fantastic pin. Still my favorite. I’m excited/interested/in on Wonka, but I see it as a peer to POTC not a replacement.
Quoted from PinMonk:But it's not spelled Essteedee-em, it's presented as an acronym, and as such, doesn't work.
Quoted from DS_Nadine:1) Stern needs a competitor in the Pro price range as well.
I think Spooky is hitting that w/ ACNC.
Quoted from Crile1:Saw a hobbit on the floor with rad cals... holy cow! Those things were beautiful! Has me really thinking of upgrading my pins.
They are amazing. I did my POTC and looooove them.

Are you suggesting they used Kevin McNally's voice work in Wonka? If so, it has got to be a placeholder.
Quoted from f3honda4me:I will say that last night the flippers were firm and good when in the presentation room. Today the same exact machines felt soft.
Were the games under constant play? Coils heated up maybe?
Quoted from PtownPin:Looks like a really fun game that will only get better with time....my only struggle is figuring out the $2K price differential between the standard and LE....not sure I get that delta....
It’s not really a price increase to the LE, it’s a steep discount on the SE.
Invisiglass, shaker and wonkavator make up 2k in value easily to me.
Quoted from BMore-Pinball:Some people just want factory installed options, they don't want to pull off rails to get powder coated, change out the glass, and add this and that.
If you do great, but why does everyone feel the need to argue so much about what it's worth... to some the upcharge to a LE or CE is not a big deal - it's going to be different for everyone based on what they want and can afford - arguing it is sort of senseless as there is no right answer.
Exactly right. It’s not just the cost of the parts, it’s also the hassle/time of the labor and the possibility of messing something up in the process.
Getting it all from the factory the way you want it has value.
Jeez I can't believe this art "debate" is still raging.
If you don't like the SE art you have options:
1. Buy an LE
2. Buy a CE
3. Buy nothing (good day sir!)
Complaining endlessly on here will not change things.
Quoted from Aurich:You know, I just talked about how that wasn't true. You're new here, so you don't know the history I guess, and that's fine. But you're dead wrong.
If you don't like the complaining about the art you have options:
1. Read it and move on with your life
2. Put the person on ignore
3. Drain the thread (good day sir!)
Haha, ok. That's fair!
Quoted from Aurich:Here's what the linework looks like between my hand drawn and the auto trace in more detail.
Thanks for that detailed writeup! My non-designer eye didn't pick up on any of the details you immediately did.
Quoted from cooked71:Really? What was the difference?
Green Davy Jones themed art. No Depp.
Quoted from pinlink:To be fair, I don't think Aurich spent a ton of time hunting for things to nit pick.
His artistic eye probably picked up on it immediately, and he voiced his opinion. I appreciate him pointing it out. Doesn't effect my buying decision one way or another, but I like knowing about it.
I thought it was interesting, I never would have picked up on the subtle detail nor the fact the auto-trace caused it.
That said, this doesn't change the game for me even one tiny bit. It was just interesting.
Quoted from JamCat:Yes, I was in for a CE and cancelled. It was going to be my first NIB.
POTC has really grown on me and I think I’m going to try and find an LE of that soon. I don’t care that they had limited licensing on it. They actually made an amazing generic pirate themed game. It doesn’t need movie scenes. The animations and graphics are just outstanding.
I’m a pirates super fan myself. If you can find one you will love it. I’m in on Wonka CE and look forward to having them side by side.
