Probably like Zynga’s money better. I promise you enough cash would have solved the “no Sigourney Weaver” problem for Heighway.
At a certain point pinball companies can’t keep opening their wallets, not enough return from a niche market. Zynga prints money with their apps with the reach they have.

Understood fully. There is a big difference between X "won't license it" and Y "not wanting to pay."

Oh hell...just do a sound alike cover. I didn't want to pay for The Doors Roadhouse, but found a cover that was just as good.

Cabinet build is great ? Are we talking about exterior bolts to metal tabs for upper metal cabinet? Or the two hasp on the lockdown bar ? Or the folding tin speaker panel with plastic nuts ? Or metal rails instead of maple wood rails
There’s a reason why it’s 200 lbs and a JJP is 300 lbs . My Munsters LE which is long gone now looked like a kiddie game

There really isn't anything left.. maybe the legs can be thinner now that the weight is less?
I'm grabbing one, as they just make games that appeal to me. (Have pirates and hobbit currently)
Pirates is my favorite of all time personally, the one thing that gets me with Wonka is the sound effects sort of bombard you, it's like standing on the floor of a casino.
But man it's beautiful and looks like a great shooter.
No one has come out and said it, but we are all thinking it. Golden tickets are like Shaq Attack. There, I said it.

As an owner of both Stern and JJP games I have to agree there is a night and day difference between build quality. While still quite fun, the Stern machines feel cheaply made. Whereas the JJP games feel like tanks and are rock solid. However, I've found that ALL of them have really annoying things that constantly go wrong with them and I continuously try to convince myself that's part of the charm of pinball.

The bottom is chocolate, and the sides are suckers, gumdrop tree, etc. and instead of that ridiculous metal building on the left, that could be the boat. So in other words you're in Wonka's factory and the ramps is the path around the factory (chocolate river). Totally missed that one.
This is a fantastic idea! You should create mods to replace the stock ramps with CHOCOLATE RIVER RAMPS!

What about the CE? The features matrix says it has a sparkly playfield, red most secret machine and a topper -- I'm curious about those.
As far as I'm aware, JJP has not revealed any details about the CE yet other than what we've all seen on the flyer.
All I know is that I will pay BIG money for sparkles. I went broke in the 80s paying for the same shit. Glad it's back!

Sparkly paint is one thing, but it's also possible they are referring to more usage of the tiny LEDs
