Recently Acquired Yukon Pinball machine . This machine was in my grandfathers basement for us to play when we were kids. I was happy to get this from my uncles basement this weekend.

The machine turns on and seems to work well but with only two issues:

1. the cylinder block is stuck in the up position between the flippers, even if I reset it. I am thinking there is a short somewhere causing it to be in the up position shown in pictures 4.

2. when the ball falls into the latch it is not sent into the channel, when I move the wire tab shown in picture 2, it then fires the ball into the channel. thinking something may have moved during transport. I just don't have a reference where it should be positioned.

Any help or insight on both problems would be appreciated. I am looking forward to having this machine up and running. Seems like a great community. Thanks everyone !

Jeremy

I will reply to my own post ! After some Trouble shooting the wire under the ball slot was bent inwards and it was latched on the wrong tab. Solution was to bend it back gently so that the point of the wire fell into the slot so the ball would push down on it and make the connection to send the ball forward ( if that makes sense ). I included a pic of final product. Next step is working on the stuck post. I will keep everyone posted.

Hi Jeremy
the section "Restoration Questions" is not the best place to ask about "faults in a pin" - I usually / mainly visit "EM-Tech section".
The "Up-Post-Down-Post problem" - the ipdb-schematics "Klondike" shows two switches to make the UP-POST-Coil to fire - the "Left side and right side Roll-Over-Switches" and here https://www.ipdb.org/showpic.pl?id=1388&picno=15774&zoom=1 I see them on the playfield.
On the underneathside maybe one switch - maybe a staple of 2 or 3 switches - look there for a bent switch --- not only look at the blades - also look where the wires are soldered-on - a drop of solder fallen there ? A doghair crap of wire there ? One if the solder-lugs heavy bent making contact ? Greetings Rolf

Thanks a lot,

Everything looks pretty clean underneath the board, i found 1 wire disconnected on the 5 bumper relay ? I will keep looking since it can manually go down when the machine is off, so something is signaling the post to stay up.
