I just changed my WPC cpu boad by a new Pinled board.
    Unfortunately it is not launching.

Is there some kind of walktrough available to test the board that I can use to define component is not working.
In case it is the asic cpu or the rom I could just order a new one to replace.

All help advice or documents are welcome.

    Best regards

Why did you replace the original board?
Did you swap 68B09E, ROM, and ASIC to the PinLED board?
Is the ASIC oriented correctly with the "dot" facing right?
Is the notch in the ROM also facing right?
    Ditto for the 68B09E.

Post a picture of the PinLED MPU board. I found it had to be set for certain switch settings to boot up properly.

Go back to.their website and download manual for instructions on Dip Switch setting.

Found a picture of one I had from 4 years ago or so.

Try these jumper dip switch settings on the board. (On is up and off is down)
    W1 on W2 off W3 off W4 on W5 off W6 off W7 on W8 on

If you upgrade U8 to 6264 NVRAM, then you would want to change W8 to off and remove the battery.

I replaced it because I had acid leakage on the original board
Also replaced the asic, the rom and the 68B09E by new ones and faced the correct way but still not launching.

Please post a picture of the board. You set the switches as in post #6?

Try moving SW1 and SW2 in the up position and SW3 to SW8 down on the left side dip switches.

To confirm, the right dip switches, marked in yellow on post #6, should be set ...up, down, down, up, down, down, up, up.

Looking at your picture, it it hard to see, and it looks like these see all not set as mentioned.

I confirm, the dipswitches are the same as on the picture on post #6.

If you unplug all 3 ribbon cables from the CPU board, does it boot? If so, then reseat the ribbon cables at all the board connections.

Even without the ribbons it is not working :/

I would send an email to PinLED in the meantime. I am currently out of ideas.

Please post a new picture showing how both dipswithes are currently set. My OCD cannot handle it.

New doesn't always mean good. Since you purchased new components to go on the new board it means you also have the old ones to test with *hint hint*

so what was the solution ? I have a similar issue. Also looking at the picture D19 is permanently ON which is not good.

I found someone with experience to check the board. He replaced the CPU on the WPC.
It was fast and at a correct price.
I did it in Belgium https://www.arcadia-amusements.com/ not sure this is any help for you...
