The only other optos in that area under the upper playfield are in the start of the Disaster Drop ramp. Very left of the pic.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but optos show as open in switch test. Take the glass off, go to sw 87 in single sw test mode and stick your finger under that bracket. If it triggers, you're good.
