I have had this pinball machine for almost 20 years and have had a few repairs done by a traveling repair guy over the years.
Since I now have three machines, I am now more interested in learning how to repair and trouble shoot issues myself.
I honestly don't have firm grasp on how to diagnose a current issue that just started a few weeks ago. (game only gets used a few times a year when my daughter visits and we binge play for an afternoon.)
When the machine is turned on, the display just reversed recently. Nothing was unplugged or changed leading up to the issue. The display also gets vertical lines sporadically (looks like 16 lines)
It there a place I can start? The game plays, but trouble shooting without a board I can read is virtually impossible as I don't know what menu I am in.
I was working on a pinball I just received from my father in law that had very corroded batteries, so I set it up with remote batteries. At that time I did replace the batteries on this White Water machine also. The batteries are still on the board, but IS it possible that there was some damage done that could affect the display? I can't remember seeing damage, but the batteries could have started to corrode.
SEE PICTURES OF REVERSED DISPLAY.
Thanks in advance.
