While it's unlikely a driverboard issue, the sound card does get instructions from the driverboard to play sounds. What happens when you run the self test button on the sound card?

    Quoted from pincoder:

It plays on self test, everything works fine. When you play Gorgar there is no sound. I get humming thou the speaker.

Got to be driver board then. You could run on-board diagnostics (solenoids test to kick out *some* sound signals) and/or you can run these free test ROMs:

    https://pincoder.ca

They require the use of a chip programmer and a chip, but if you don't have those two things you can get the Pincoder Adapter:

    https://pincoder.ca/index.php/2020/07/10/adapter-2020-06-23-0506/

The adapter comes preloaded with all of the Pincoder tests and you can start using it right out of the box.

Normally you'd start with 01a-leds and work your way through the list, but it sounds like your game is in pretty good working order, save for the sound issue so you could jump straight to the "11a-sounds" and "11b-sounds" tests. They will send the required codes for *all* sounds to the sound board via the driver board.

Now, having said all of that, it's quite unlikely that all 5 of the communication "channels/wires" to the sound card have become dead all at once. Was there any kind of power surge/failure to the game that may have done some damage? Does *everything* else work as expected in the game?

You can the game as normal, everything scores like it should, all the lights flash, and everything is normal on playing the game except no sound. It has all new mpu board, driver board, and power board. Also a new sound board. It just weird.
