My Hot Tip 4th player display is missing segments d&e, I know it's the display because I swapped them & the issue follows the display in question.
The d&e segments do work when it is partially plugged in as you can see in the image. What would cause this & is it repairable or should I just get a new one?

Look closely for breaks in the copper foil too.
How do you get to it, there is that strip of rock hard cement over it, plus I get continuity from the edge of the tracer all the way to the opposite end coming right out of the glass. That would mean the break is in the glass rendering this thing trash, correct?
