Think I have finally have narrowed down my space shuttle sys 9 with Error Code 7. I compared my voltages from my friends Sorceror to mine on U22, the 555 timer. Here are the voltages. Mine first, then my friends.
Pin 1 ground. Ok
Pin 2 3.3v vs 3.77
Pin 3. .12v. Vs. 4.02v
Pin 4. 4.82v. Reset voltage on mine
Pin 5. 3.28v
Pin 6. 3.77v
Pin. 7. .12v vs. 4.04v
Pin 8. Power. 5v
The 555 chip is new . Now here is the weird part. I severed the traces of pin 3 and pin 7. After I did that, I have 4.71 volts showing up at pin 12 of 1J3 which is fed by the pin 3 trace....And. I have 1.5 volts showing up on the pin 7 trace. That feeds pins 2 and 5 of the IC 7408 chips of U57, U56, U60, and U61.
Any thoughts and help on this is much appreciated.
