got a jokerz with the card wheel not working. sometimes you can see it vibrate.
in test it goes 0-256, then error. home switch tests good, rotating the wheel changes the H . if i put an LED across the A coil wires and spin the wheel, the led lights. same for the B coil wires, the LED lights. that indicates to me both coils are ok.

how exactly does this thing work? Q7 and Q15 from the cpu board go to the wheel stepper board. when you put it in test, both Q7 and Q 15 goes low, and you can see that at the stepper board. i assume the stepper board toggles the a and b coils to move the wheel. does Q7 and Q15 also pulse or is it all handled on the stepper board?

i pulled the stepper board, all the transistor check good, diodes too. no cracked solder joints. is there anyway to test these things? also, the stepper motor is labeled 6 volts , and the board looks to have a regulator on it.
