I've always loved the artwork on Williams' 1974 Strato-Flite and Super-Flite games.
It's been frequently mentioned that the plane shows a strong resemblance to the B-58 'Hustler' bomber of the 1960's, but I always wondered why the artwork showed passenger windows?
In doing some online reading about the B-58, it turns out that Convair explored the possibility of producing a commercial version of the plane that would be a 52 passenger Super Sonic Transport (the B-58 could make Mach 2.4). Turns out the idea never went too far, but in the link and image below you can see the inclusion of windows in the stretched-fuselage version they mocked up. Perhaps the great Christian Marche used both images as inspirations for his fantastic back glass.
