I’ve just picked up a Skylab. Not too much work and it’s all working. However I note that when putting a coin in rather than adding a credit to the credit count it just starts a new game. I’ve not bothered much with coin mechs in the previous game I’ve worked on. Is this a jones plug setting that chooses whether it starts a new game or adds a credit or something else?

If you have the game in Add-a-Ball mode, this may be the reason. Adjustment is in the backbox.

If the 10 cent Adjustment jack is set to 1, inserting a coin in that slot will activate the Coin relay which will start a game.

Thanks. That was it. Have moved jack and all good.
