I have been having an odd problem with my Williams Rancho for the past few days... When I hit the start button, it resets the game and starts a 1 player game just fine.. When I hit the start button again to add a second player, it keeps resetting and starting another 1 player game. I checked the 2nd player relay and thought maybe the latch was getting stuck on it. It seems adjusted and free but was still doing it... Now here's where it gets weird... If I leave the machine on for a while (an hour or so) and try to start it again, everything works fine and a 2 player game is added, although sometimes it sounds like it's resetting the game again between the 1 and 2 player change... For example, last night it wouldn't start a 2 player game so I figured I'd swap the incandescent bulbs in the backbox to LED's... By the time I finished that and tried again to start a 2 player game, it started right up. Is it a "warming up" issue that I'm not understanding? It has frustrated me to no end as I think I have the problem solved and go to bed with it fixed, only to wake up to the same issue again... Any ideas on where to look is much appreciated!

Game over relay switches were properly adjusted but filthy... Cleaned them up and it has started perfect every time! I guess the real test will be tomorrow morning, which is when the problem has been coming back, but it seems like it MAY be fixed. Thanks for the advice, fredsmythson!
