I recently acquired a 1989 William's Police Force Prototype pin. Attached is the pic of the pop bumper caps on it (never been altered) which are not the same as the production run (translucent yellow I believe those are). Were these place holders borrowed from another machine or are they unique to the prototype pin design?

They look like Tri Zone pop bumper caps to me, but the color is different for the circles in the middle.
