This from wiki...all the games are fun as hell too...
The following pinball machines are included in all versions of the game:
Black Knight
Firepower
Funhouse
Gorgar
Pin*Bot
Space Shuttle
Taxi
Whirlwind
The following are in the PSP, Wii, PS3 and 360 versions only:
Jive Time
Sorcerer
The following are in the PS3 and 360 versions only:
Arabian Nights
Medieval Madness
No Good Gofers
We have two Wii's, two PSP's, two PS2's, one PS3, and a Xbox 360 I haven't turned on in over a year.
I just looked it up on Gamestop and there is also PS2 version. The local store has it used for $9.99. (I found the PS2 and Xbox 360 versions online).
Thanks for the heads up
Just a heads up, the 360 version is easily the best version. I've played them all, and the 360 has the best graphics. Something went weird with the PS3 development and a few textures look muddy to me.
The PS2 version lacks some of the tables, but it is 1/3 the price.
Not to mention if you don't have a hacked or modified system anything you download won't work. The PS2 version was pretty lame and I had to patch it as it was PAL (EU).
The Xbox version looks really great. I'm sure the Wii version also lacks graphic detail. Playing it off and on tonight.
I have played the hell out of Medieval madness. that game is incredible, reminds me of when my dad used to take us to the truckstop arcade over 10 years ago and we used to play in there (me and my brother).
yep, the xbox 360 graphics are great. HD looks sooo nice.
finally beat my bro's score of 313 million. I scored 319 million
and I beat the Battle for the Kingdom....intense. lol
does anyone here actually own a true MM pinball? I bet they are a pain to keep in working order.
This game is a gem. I recommend it to any pinballer out there... they did a great job with the physics, especially. I finally got to play Taxi again for the first time in years
I'll be picking this up as well. But there is suppose to be a new version coming out with Stern tables and for ios/android.
Fun game but I have a hard time with it because it doesn't support drop catching. Deal breaker for me because I don't want it to corrupt my real-life pinball skills.
I heard this is corrected in the next version however.
I feel like the controls are best on the Wii. I own for both Wii and 360, the games that are available on both I prefer on the Wii despite the poor visuals. The buttons have less travel, which feels more like the real thing, and beyond that the nudge controls are far better than using a joystick. It's a shame that there are 3 extra games on the 360, otherwise I wouldn't have bought it.
People also seem to forget that there is a Gottlieb collection for Xbox and PS2. Not nearly as good, as you would probably expect..
If any one is looking for a copy, contact Tim Arnold curator of the Pinball Hall of Fame. He has some copies available, and all proceeds go to the museum so its a win win!
The game is super fun....played the heck out of the Williams Collection....if you have an online account download Pinball FX....it is as good if not better.

The bad thing is the wii version does not have MM TOTAN or NGG
But yes there is a Gottlieb and williams and the new version I think includes those two plus Stern tables.
Allegedly, there will be no Wii version of Pinball Arcade. If true, that's lame.
I am looking forward to picking it up for the 360 though. Can't wait for Ripleys. Also think the idea of having them as DLC makes tons of sense...

Doesn't look like it to me. But a 3ds one? thats weird. Wii though...hard console to get big sales in, unless it is 1st party.
Quoted from TZBen:that game caused me to purchase my first real machine.
Me too! All of my friends are hard core pinball nuts who hunt down machines to play all the time- all because we started playing that video game a few years ago.
Quoted from TZBen:that game caused me to purchase my first real machine.
I would have bought a real one eventually, but this video game did hasten the purchase.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:People also seem to forget that there is a Gottlieb collection for Xbox and PS2
We have the Gottlieb one for xbox. My son keeps asking why nobody makes pins like the older Gottliebs where they stack flippers and all the different playfield layouts. I keep telling him I do not know because everybody complains that there is not enough variation between certain pins but if somebody were to try those layouts the same people would compain that the pins are not the same any longer.
I do not understand why is my basic answer. Maybe we will see a radical retro pin oneday like that. I know it would work for the younger crowd that needs more things to hold their interest.

On the Xbox360 version you can assign the shoulder buttons for the flippers. They have much
shorter travel than the triggers. Plays much better.

We have the Gottlieb one for xbox.
Huh? like the old Xbox? I tried looking and I don't think there is one for 360?
Quoted from The_Gorilla:I look for this title every time I hit a used game place....haven't found it yet. Maybe Amazon...?
as much as I hate them, Bestbuy has it used for cheaper than anyone.

Yes original xbox only. I think the wii got the gotlieb one as well.
I have the Wii version and the XBOX 360 version....
I think they are both very good and enjoyable..... I like the Wii because you can shake the controllers to nudge, but the XBOX for everything else.
Looks like it has gotten pretty cheap and is definitely worth picking up (unless the new pinball arcade is going to include all these tables, which it might).
On a separate note, I really like Pinball FX now that I have had some time to play it, but the one thing lacking for me is the sound/music, it just isn't exciting and does not seem to tie that well into the game.
Quoted from northvibe:the new "the pinball arcade" by the same makers as PHOF are releasing the new bally/stern/williams/gottlieb collection in March I think for PC, mac, xbox, ps3, wii, 3dds, vita etc. So I'm going to wait until that as it looks to have all the same tables as the PHOF discs.
Can't get here soon enough!
Quoted from RobT:Can't get here soon enough!
I can wait a bit longer for the PC version they are doing. Especially if they give it 3 monitor support. If they do, the virtual pinball cabinets that could be made will be jaw dropping.
I have the PS3 version and it is indeed fun. A couple tables are hard to play (No Good Gofers and TOTAN) since they are too "busy" to follow 10 feet away from a TV. I just play them on VP instead (which is really darn good, especially the tables JP Salas makes (http://gethome.no/jpsalas/).
