Yes they do. Thats where i got mine

I should have checked there!

That said, if anyone has a complete used set, I'm in the market for them. The pf is pretty rough, so I wouldn't mind putting in used ones.

If nothing turns up for a while, I'll probably go with new ones.

Thanks!

Actually, i was thinking sorcerer, sorry. Not sure if cpr has plastics for pharaoh

#113 2 years ago

Could anyone send me a pic or 2 of the ball thrower assembly that kicks the ball from the lower playfield to the upper? Mine is missing the coil and mounting bracket for the coil. The mounting bracket looks like it's probably a regular slingshot/kicker bracket.

I'd like to verify the type of coil used if possible. Williams manual says it's an SG-23-550-DC, which isn't an easy one to find. Just curious to see what's commonly found there.

Thanks!!!

No worries! This is kind of a long-term project.

As a matter of fact, if you could do me another favor (or anyone else here in the club), I'd also like pics of the front and back sides of the "insert panel" (the panel that the displays mount to)... I'm probably going to have to build one from scratch, so it would be of great help to have an example to work from. That's further down the road though, so don't sweat that if you don't get a chance.

Thanks, and enjoy your new years!

Those pics are very helpful, thank you!

So it appears the coil for the Hidden Tomb Ball Shooter on your game is an SG-23-850--at least that appears to be what was installed from the factory... If that coil has never been replaced, of course. According to the manual, it's supposed to have an SG-23-550 there. I ordered a coil from Marco with those specs, so it'll be interesting to see if there's a noticeable difference (I'm assuming the 550 coil should have more considerably strength than the 850).

Thanks again! Hope you enjoyed your new years party!

Does anyone have pics of this area from their game? I'm trying to figure out what was supposed to go in the spot to the right of the hidden tomb ball kicker. There's a big enough opening to the right of it that the ball could possibly sneak through and get lost there. There's a couple screw holes in the area so I presume something was there at some point. I'll probably make up a little guide to close off the area, I'm just curious what is supposed to be there from the factory.

Thanks!

I looked at my photos and didn't find one of that. I recall it was small wire rail. I think....

#125 2 years ago

A friend suggested the same yesterday, and I agree--it looks like that's most likely what was there. I'll bend a wire to fit the spot. I appreciate the help, guys!

Hahaha, I actually did pretty much the same thing!!! I had just enough top side photos, and way too many of the bottom side.

I think it's that hypnotizing, stern gaze from the Pharaoh--that guy means business!!!

Picked up a Pharaoh and a Black Hole about 2 weeks ago. I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying the Pharaoh. It's the first time I've played a game with Magna-save and it soooo cool. The playfield has some wear and minor planking that does not affect the play any. The wear actually looks pretty cool and matches the motif lol. I have a playfield protector arriving soon so I can prevent further wear, and also the inserts do have some wear that does affect the ball travel some. I think the protector is going to make it look and play so much better, I am super excited to install it. Also currently doing a flipper rebuild using Vid's guide.

Looks like someone had put cool white led's in it. I switched to warm whites in the GI and it looks so much better. It is brighter, but looks like incandescents. I need to change the whites in the inserts now, too.

#131 2 years ago

Here is a good pic showing the difference in brightness and color of the warm whites. I did light all of the posts in the 2 slingshot sections to brighten up more of the lower playfield.

Cool white on the upper playfield and warm white on the lower (obviously lol)

Will join the club with this project Pharaoh. It is my first system 7 pinball machine.
It powers on and lights are on but no game is starting.

Playfield is dirty. Cabinet art is good but cabinet is in the back swollen. Any tips how to fix it?

My MPU board has only one test button. Is that normal?

Personally, I would just wax it and get two new balls. But if you do enjoy the labor of installing a hardtop, then why not?

I threw a playfield protector on mine so the playfield wouldn’t take on anymore damage. Plays great now. The protector also prevents ball trajectory changes due to insert cupping. After installing all new flipper mechs/brackets and installing the protector, the machine plays much better than when I first got it.

I bought the pf protector. I'm curious on this since i have tried the different ways to restore playfields, but not this one

Didn't like playfield protector, ball was very slow. A couple of things need adjusting but it's finished

Looks great!

Sorry the protector didn’t work out for you. Mine isn’t slow at all. Before I ordered mine I had read about people saying it slowed their game down, but I didn’t experience this. Of course I have all new rubber, all 4 rebuilt/upgraded flippers, new balls, and a good incline. Protector worked so well I ordered one to install on my Pinbot once I remove the old mylar.

Joined the club yesterday! Or should I say I kinda did because technically it was my wife who did...
This past weekend was the Golden State Pinball Festival. Great festival run by even greater people.
Friday I spent almost the whole day playing in the match play tournament. Saturday my wife came later in the day and she brought a friend with her and they played while I volunteered some for the festival and played in the main tournament. Saturday night once we were home she's telling me about this game she had played that she really enjoyed called Pharaoh. I'd never heard of it before but in my defense I feel like I'm still kinda new to the hobby (got my first game in 2005, but went both feet into the hobby during covid like many others). She's telling me about how she liked it so much because of the artwork and the upper playfield.
So yesterday we're back at the festival and I ask her again about Pharaoh and where the game is. We look over and there it is turned off, not working, looking sad. So I don't even bother to check it out much. Short while later we're in another building of the festival and she mentions that there's another Pharaoh against the back wall, so we go over to check it out. This one is turned on, plays well, and looks to be in good condition. So we play a couple games and then notice that it's tagged as being for sale. I take a picture of the phone number just in case she is interested that we buy it. So then I ask a couple friends if they're familiar with the game and if it's suitable maintenance wise for a relative noob like myself. In mentioning it they say, you know our mutual friend has one for sale right??? Turns out the one we saw for sale was in fact being sold by a friend of ours and we hadn't realized he was selling one. It seemed meant to be so we shook hands and now it's sitting in the garage waiting to be moved upstairs next weekend. Best part is she insisted that she wants this to be her game that she paid for with her money. So now I can consider myself one of those lucky guys who's wife buys pinball machines as well!!!
Will post some photos once we get her up and running.

#147 11 months ago

Hell yeah! Welcome to the club. Give your wife a kiss from me!

Did she find out about the magna save? No one that ever plays mine notices it or realizes what it does. Magna save is awesome and is the reason I bought mine. Hope to pick up a Grand Lizard and Black Knight eventually.
