My Paddock won't end the game after the last ball drains. Seems like the game over relay isn't activated when it's supposed to. I have the schematics, can someone point me in the right direction? What is the score motor/relay sequence after the last ball drains?

Through the ball count unit and switch 1A on the score motor.

There is a diagram of the ball count unit in the Instruction Manual, check that the contact related to Game Over Trip is good. Otherwise verify the score motor switch is closing.

The problem was caused by a bad connector in the backbox...

Which connector? Having the same problem.

Try cleaning and reconnecting the Jones plugs.

Problem solved. Jones plugs were all good. Motor contacts were all good. Finally found the arm that limits the latch travel (circled in the photo) had been bent too far open. This allowed the latch plate to swing too far from the magnet so the magnet, when energized, did not have enough attraction to pull it close enough to release the latch and end the game.

hi, I'm trying to restore my pinball after 25 years in the basement. I have cleaned contacts , got the reset of score dials working (apart from one which has now stopped going back to zero!), and stuck at the point of clunking and resetting but no ball fired out and playgame area has lights only. I have the lock relay on solid (looks like burning out) and I stuck trying to fault find the next step with the schematics. If I tap the 5c I get a game credit, if I tap the 10c contacts it takes a credit away? The coils have tested OK on the main bottom board. The score motor now does a 360 spin on reset after some cleaning. I have cleaned the rotors etc. The coin mech has a very rusty disconnected solenoid.
Any help with many thanks
