I have the three magnets from a No Fear, they sit under the ramp at the back of the game and are currently out of the machine.

1) Two are the correct Part Number 20-10197 and one is a 20-9427 which appears to belong to other Williams games. Are these interchangeable or will the 20-9427 magnet not work properly? I don't find any specs on them.

2) Is there way to bench test these magnets, either with a Fluke meter or by applying power or?

Thanks!

If you can find the proper resistance reading for them online, you can confirm it with your meter. And of course, two with the same part number should read about the same, so you can at least confirm they're both good/bad

Accelerator test in game no good?

#4 1 year ago

Thanks. I did not have the opportunity to test in game.

I did check ohms...two are 4.8 ohms and the other is 4.1 ohms. But the two that test the same are a 197 and a 427. The one that tests 4.1 is also a 197
