I finished cleaning my Space Mission coin door. In the process I put the small blanking plate that has the Williams logo on it in the ultrasonic cleaner. Unfortunately it removed the “W” logo from the plate. Does anyone sell a decal for the logo? The attached picture shows the “W” logo before it was cleaned off.

Is this just a vinyl sticker logo? Anyone with a vinyl cutter like a cricket or similar can find that image and cut it. If you can’t find anything, PM me and I’m sure I have a piece of red vinyl and could cut it. Would just need to know how big the diameter of the circle is.

Hard to believe the main parts suppliers wouldn’t have this decal.

Looks like a good candidate for a rub-on transfer: https://customrubontransfers.com

Do decals look any good on metal? I tried on a metal shooter gauge and it didn't look right.

I used a rub on transfer on a woodrail metal shooter gauge and it worked great. Excuse the dust.

A decal won't look good on a brushed metal surface UNLESS you seal that surface with a clearcoat first. Decals need an ultra-smooth gloss surface so that the film will disappear. If you apply them to a flat-finish or brushed surface, the film will "ghost".

A vinyl sticker might be easier, but will also have thicker edges that can nick, lift, and peel if touched.

Personally I would spray-clear the plate and use a decal (then seal the decal under another coat of spray clear). But having said that, I don't have any decals. I *could* make some if there was enough demand but one-offs of that size aren't enough for me to unbury the printer and set up my rig, make test shots, etc.

I've got some left over red reflective vinyl I could cut this out of minus the circle R (cameo can't cut such small details).

That "dummy" (blank) plate has been unavailable for years. It was orginally a silkscreened Williams logo on an aluminum plate.
