Manual and schematic on ipbd. Arrow’s only light when five balls on one side. They do not alternate. Took me only 30 seconds after looking at manual.
You may have to check the match unit. As it says above, this switch opens/closes every other step of match unit. You need to see if the switch is opening and closing properly. As Howard said, unfortunately the information provided is not clear. The match unit does have a finger that opens and closes the change relay, but does not mention the captive ball relay.
