Quoted from rolf_martin_062:And NOT HAVING FACTS I can not write to ipdb:
Rolf, I'm hurt. You can always write to me! But, I always appreciate your nice research so that, yes, we can have facts if available. You have brought several discoveries and interesting things to the hobby.
I have now added Williams promotional photos for the following games and whether they show posts or not:
1971 Model 397 Gold Rush (no posts)
1971 Model 397 Jackpot (no posts)
1971 Model 403 Klondike (has posts)
1971 Model 403A Yukon (has posts)
1971 Model 411 Yukon Special (not applicable; has the 'Italian bottom' for export to Italy)
Model 397 was produced for USA/Canada as Gold Rush and has prospector symbols on the playfield reels. The same Model 397 was also produced for export as Jackpot and has slot machine symbols on the playfield reels.
Based on Williams documentation, I corrected the production run quantities as follows:
Gold Rush: from (blank) to 1,156 units.**
Jackpot: from 6,303 units to 5,147 units.**
Yukon Special: from (blank) to 700 units.
** total for Model 397 is 6,303 units.
