-The 12 modes were completed
-Eternal Life multiball was started
-Upon hitting the last needed switch to complete the mode (bottom left light of mini playfield) the game crashed.

It turned off for ~5 seconds, then turned itself back on. The current score (plus the billion bonus) was "saved" as the last game played, but not entered on the high score list.

While it would have been my highest score ever, I'm more concerned about this being a constant thing and/or a complicated fix?

I haven't tried any repro yet, I wanted to get opinions first. The game functions as normal with the exception of the piston/bar used for to get the ball on the mini playfield.

If you didn't change any switches recently, it may be just a fluke.

If you didn't change any switches and it starts happening more often, I'd go through the reset list :

I had same exact thing happen to my machine. The driver board was the cause of my issue. I swapped board with another machine that had rottendog driver board in it and issue went away. The rottendog board has more stable 5 volts built in. I spoke to Jim Knight about his board years ago on my Sttng machine that had issues and his board fixed that machine in the end.

Thank you for the replies. I'll look into the resets before anything else.
