I'm looking at this machine and just want some input as to it's true market value.
This is a true HUO machine. Buying it from original owner who purchased it brand new back in '93(was not a pre-routed machine). Zero cabinet fade as much as I can tell. Original sales receipt from distributor was folded up neatly in the coin box. Needless to say it's in pristine condition all-around. Boards are all good too. Game plays perfectly. Just want to know if anyone else has had any buying/selling experience with a game in similar condition.
Thanks for any input!

#3 11 years ago

a lot , that's a tough one

#4 11 years ago

At least $6k and possibly quite a bit more at today's prices. What a great find!

#5 11 years ago

I wouldn't go over 2500 for that game

#6 11 years ago

True HUO, low play, mint condition, one owner would sell for $8k in a snap and probably worth closer to $9k. Skies the limit to some collectors when you find A-Titles in this condition. let's say between $8k and $10k to be safe.

DOH! Thanks Matt !!

Tanks for the input guys. My daughter really doesn't need that money for college anyways.
Hopefully all goes well with the move.

Indy is in the house! (Or at least the garage)
Couldn't verify if there was any cabinet fade until I took the legs off but as you can see there is zero fade! More pics to come.

yowza! looks good so far

#12 11 years ago

Nice score! An original indy with no fade is a rare find indeed.

Oh yeah. You may want to change the thread title to say you got it so people can check it out. Or not.

Congrats! Very sweet pin.

Yeah, that will sell all day for $8k. And when I say "all day" I mean in one day!

I've had a couple. Wasn't planning to sell her. I've only played 4 games so far. It would have to be an offer I couldn't refuse

It was a generous offer! Thanks! At least let me change the 20 year-old rubber and get my high score initials up there first

#33 11 years ago

By any chance did you get proof of HUO ?

As I mentioned earlier in this post, I have the original sales receipt from the distributor to the gentlemen I purchased it from dated Dec '93. Has matching serial number on receipt. Guy wasn't a pinhead or even a collector for that matter. Just wanted a pinball machine for his basement family room where it had been sitting since 93'. One look and I knew it was something special. He said for the last 10 years or so it pretty much was only played on holidays when family was over.

How do you get proof of HUO? There is no proof... except your eyes!

Pictures taken every day of the machine next to that day's newspaper, like from a kidnapper.

The quarter slot was so tight I could only get a dime in it?

Ok ,I am just wondering where is the Williams sticker that every machine has when they where made on the front of the machine ,yours don't have that .Thats why I am asking ??

#39 11 years ago

Look again WilliamPinball...the Williams sticker is clearly on the front of the machine in the wings and in shown in the picture.

That looks like the one in Columbus, OH that was for sale for $4900. What a great buy!!

#46 11 years ago

And another.

Nice machine - I would agree with Tony and say this is worth well over $6500. I sold the last one I restored for $6500 with a HEP pf restore. I would say all original like this is worth much more.

Thanks Scott and all the others who have chimed in. I'm very excited to have found this machine. Can't wait to get it cleaned up proper so I can start enjoying it.
