Hi just saw this thread not sure if you have sorted or not. I had a similar problem with my Road Kings. I recapped basically everything ...didn't help ( didn't hurt either) . It turned out to be the D/A converter ( U2) Pulled him out put in a socket with a new chip . It then worked perfectly. Took me ages to work out.
