Hello, I’ve recently acquired a high speed. Turning it on I got the adjust failure message and quickly realized the batter holder was bad, with a little corrosion and a tiny bit of leaking. I removed the battery holder and replaced with a 2032 coin cell battery. This fixed the error message when starting the game, it no longer gives me the adjust failure message but the game will not start. I can coin up but that’s about it. I also am noticing a bit of buzzing that goes with the lights now that I’m not sure was there before.
Anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? Much appreciated

Check and make sure every connector on the bottom of the board is plugged in correctly.

Also make sure that the board is screwed down properly

Can you access diagnostic tests? Does the switch matrix work?

I checked the connectors. I’m noticing it’s missing the left corner screws that hold the pcb. Is this critical? I didn’t think it would be.

Update, I threw the extra ball from the cabinet in and got the game to start up. Sounds are okay. All switches seem working but none of the coils in the kickers, bumpers ect. Are working.

Not critical , but the more ground handshake the better.

What Brewchap said. Really important. Those replacement mpu boards are very expensive.
