I'm working on a 1966 Williams 8 ball. The high score adjust is not functioning properly. Yellow wire in 8 position should knock at 3800 points. Green wire in 6 slot should knock at 4600 points. I get the theory, this machine will knock the first increment and not knock for any other points accomplished. Suggestions, comments, anybody??? I've set these up before, but this time oh boy!

so it doesn't knock at all?
does it award the replay?

Yes it does knock on the first game scoring award and yes you get a game for that. It does not knock or award a game for number 2, 3, and 4 awards, nor do you get a game.

I would check the circuit boards on the score reels and make sure they are making proper contact at the score award positions. I have had games before that had dead spots (metal completely gone) at the point of contact. It may not be that, but somewhere to start. Then you may have to dig deeper and trace the circuits to those score awards, etc.
