Grand Prix was my first pinball. I bought it from Art's Amusements in Clovis New Mexico in 1983. That game survived many military moves! It even spent a couple years in South Korea with me!

Quoted from Arcade:Just picked this one up yesterday.
Where did you get it from, was it local?
Quoted from Arcade:Yes. A local pickup. Friend of mine got it from another local guy who took it as payment for a job he did.
I've been looking for Grand Prix. Unortunately, the only good one I can find is clear out in Sacramento.
GP was my first pin over 30 years ago. I made a mistake and let it go about 15 years ago.
I missed it so much I had to buy another after I got seller's regret! It's at HEP being restored now.
Quoted from lmcdonald111:Resto
Our plan is to bring it to Texas Pinfest
Wow! That is a work of art. I hope mine turns out as well. All that's missing is a piece of invisiglass!
lmcdonald111 , your GP? It's gorgeous! GP was my first pin, but sold it many years ago. Finally found another last summer. Hope mine turns out as nice as yours!
Quoted from pindude80:I've loved this game since the first time I played it because I'm a 70s spinner game junkie! I've casually been looking for one for the past year or so and I'm happy to report that it is being picked up right now and on it's way to me! I know it needs new spinner decals. I looked at Pinball Resource, Marco, and Pinball Life but no one has them. Does anyone know where I can get a set?
I can't wait to get this pin setup and rip some spinners!
Post pics! Glad you found one of your favorite pins. GP was the first pin I ever owned. I don’t have many EMs. Just GP and Space Mission; another great spinner game!
Quoted from fabsj82:Joined the club with my $100 GP. It was being used as a decoration in a vacation home. Cleaned up nice!

Nice home decoration, but it deserves better! Nice find!
Quoted from mcubed:That restoration looks outstanding, wish mine looked that way. Mind if I ask who did the work?
It was a nice original. The complete restoration was done by Chris Hutchins (HEP)
Some of the cabinet and PF restoration is documented here.
