Well, to tell you the truth, I think that's normal. One thing that is great about Williams games is the strong clack of those flippers.

One thing to check would be to make sure the correct coils are installed. Lower flippers are FL-11630 and upper is FL-11753

Could be a difference in the material used for the mechs, I suppose - but you could post a pic here and we can all verify that all the right parts are there and it looks correct.
