Hello, its my first post here so please go easy on a newbie. I'm fooling around with lights on my williams flash. I want to add more blues on playfield to give it a more underwater look. I'm trying different bulb covers and LEDs. I replaced both 89's under blue crescent Flash insert with super bright blue LEDs for a brighter effect. When you get all the drop targets, the 89's would flash. The LEDS are brighter, but looks like they stay on all the time and only barely flicker when I get all targets down. Are there different LEDs I should have purchased? Also, I would like the room to shake when I get the flash. Would adding a base speaker under machine give me that effect? Could I just clip base to existing speaker wires in cabinet? Something tells me I'm going to blow out every fuse in the machine by tinkering.

see this recent topic regarding the LED's...http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/rss/topic/cheap-89-leds. As far as room shaking move to an earthquake region and get your timing right.
An upgraded speaker should be able to be wired in with No problem.

I dont think a larger speaker will give you the effect that you want. You may want to look at the Earthshaker pinball which uses a shaker motor to produce that effect.
