Hey all,
I am getting ready to upgrade my Flash flippers following vids guide: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/vids-guide-to-upgradingrebuilding-flippers/page/3#post-773606. I have 2 questions.

First, what is the recommended guage wire to wire the EOS switch to the solinoid?? I have lots of 18awg wire, but is that good enough??
Second, what is the best way to adjust the EOS switch to get the 1/8 inch gap??

I am somewhat new to this and this will be my first flipper rebuild. Thx in advance.

Don't worry about the wire gauge. As long as it's bigger than "tiny", you'll be fine. I use a pair of needlenose to adjust my EOS switches, but be gentle. It's easy to bend too much.

16-18ga should be fine. Stranded.

They make specific leaf switch adjusting tools that work very well, but I'm not sure where to buy them these days

Marco Specialties and Pinball Resource carry the leaf switch adjusters.
