I'am helping a friend to resuscitate its Firepower.
The board looks good, new sockets and combo rom installed (2732). It passes the test bench but the problem is once plugged in the cabinet.
All the solenoids fire, until the fuse F2 blows up.
Swapping with another board (cpu & driver) the problem is the Firepower cpu itself and not driver or other boards or cabling.
If I remove temporarily the fuse, with the "magic trick" under the playfield switch, the board boots and lamps and switches working good (obviously not the solenoids that, I imagine, are still activated by the software).
Is this a blanking signal problem or other? I would like to understand how the software works. Who engages the solenoids at the power up...
Thanks a lot to everyone wants to help me.

Problem solved! The culprit was the 556 timer in IC23
